Margarita Pochebut is an exceptional Ukrainian violinist whose rich, singing tone and deeply personal interpretations have distinguished her on the international stage from an early age.
She has won prizes at major international competitions across Europe, drawing acclaim for her command of the violin's full expressive palette — a singing tone, effortless technique, and musical intelligence beyond her years. Her repertoire spans the Baroque through contemporary, with a particular passion for the great Romantic and twentieth-century violin literature.
Margarita has performed as soloist and chamber musician in renowned concert halls throughout Ukraine, Austria, Italy, France, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and beyond. She collaborates regularly with leading orchestras and chamber ensembles, and brings the same committed artistry to every project she joins.
She completed her studies at the International Menuhin Music Academy in Rolle and continues her advanced training at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg, where she develops her artistry under the guidance of distinguished mentors.
Since November 2023, Margarita has been playing a Lorenzo Storioni violin, made in Cremona in 1784 and provided by the Stretton Society.
